God With Us | When God Doesn’t Explain Himself

God's ultimate desire has always been to dwell with His people. We long for God's presence, but our sin separates us from a holy God. How can sinful people approach a holy God?

After rescuing Israel and establishing His covenant with them, God gives Moses detailed instructions for building the Tabernacle… a place where His presence would dwell among His people. Every part of the Tabernacle tells a story. The gate, the sacrifice, the altar, the laver, the lampstand, the bread, the veil, and the Ark all point to humanity's greatest problem and God's ultimate solution. 

The Tabernacle revealed two truths that seem impossible to reconcile: God is completely holy, and God desperately wants to be near His people. 

What began as a tent in the wilderness ultimately points to Jesus Christ, the One who became the final sacrifice, tore down the barrier of sin, and made access to God possible for everyone. 

The story of Moses ends with God's glory filling the Tabernacle. The story of Jesus ends with the veil being torn. And the story of every believer is the invitation to live in the presence of God.

God's greatest gift is not an explanation. It's His presence.

Life is full of questions we wish God would answer. Why did the diagnosis come? Why did the relationship end? Why did the opportunity disappear? Why does the waiting continue when we've prayed for so long?

Most of us want explanations, but throughout Scripture, God often offers something different. Instead of revealing the entire plan, He invites us to trust Him one step at a time.

The life of Moses is a powerful example of that kind of faith. From being born into slavery and raised in a palace to leading God's people through impossible circumstances, Moses repeatedly found himself in situations that didn't make sense. Yet through every season of uncertainty, God was present, faithful, and at work in ways Moses couldn't fully see.

In this series, we'll follow Moses' journey and discover what it means to trust God's character when we don't understand His timing, His methods, or His plans. Because faith isn't trusting God when He explains Himself. Faith is trusting God when He doesn't.

Join us as we learn that the most important question isn't, "Do I understand what God is doing?" but "Will I trust Him anyway?"
